Carting all your usual products and paraphernalia with you is impractical and often you don’t have the time or privacy to use them. To make matters worse, your skin may have to contend with conditions you don’t have at home. While some might opt to go au naturel to avoid the hassle, there is one skin care product you should not leave home without – a good shielding lotion.

Skin care is a problem while traveling and when you arrive at your destination. Here are a few ways you can use shielding lotion to help you with skin care no matter what the situation.

Some models are more than just faces and figures: They’re successful businesswomen, parlaying their time on the catwalk into careers that show off that other important asset — their wits.

Heidi Klum, for example, is now in her fifth season as host and executive producer of “Project Runway” (Wednesday nights on Bravo). But that’s practically in her spare time, considering she has her own jewelry line with Mouawad, her own skin-care line called In An Instant and, even at age 35, is one of the busiest models in the world.

Medicare has done a great deal of good since its enactment 43 years ago this week. It currently provides health care for 44 million seniors. But bipartisan action is needed if we are to keep our commitment to seniors without breaking the bank or the financial backs of American workers.

For the second year in a row, Medicare spending has triggered a statutory alarm requiring Congress to act to keep the program solvent. Yet some members of Congress still refuse to face the facts about the looming trouble.

Consumers are demanding higher quality personal care items

Consumers are demanding higher quality personal care items in the common supermarket aisles that traditionally offer the most basic mass-market varieties.

The people I spoke with researching this skincare article wanted not only to save gasoline and multiple market trips - they wanted the deep discounts of box stores like Sam’s Club and Costco, the rolling price deals and in-and-out ease of a Wal-Mart or Target with the organic/natural product stock abundance of Whole Foods at low prices.

A CHILDREN’S store held a special opening to celebrate a brand new expansion.
The Old Tree House at Market Street, Hebden Bridge, has extended the store to the first floor of the building and increased the range of baby carriers and slings which were already being sold at the store.
New to the business is an outdoor section which includes wellies and raincoats as well as a special open-air area, which will be used for storytelling and features a children’s playhouse.
Clothing for premature babies can also be bought from the store and sold at cost price and not for profit.
Owner Grainne Henson, said: “I’ve been wanting to do this for some time and because I own the building and am able to make the changes.
“I have a lot of ideas for what I want to do and have so many beautiful products that needed to be displayed in their full glory.
“What we really want is for the place to be a community facility for everyone. We already have a toilet with baby changing facilities.”
Mrs Henson said she is now hoping to open a children’s hairdressing salon on the top floor of the building.
The business has been running for four years and the newest development has taken four months to complete.
